Quality Inspector/Chargehand

Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years’ experience in steel fabrication inspection, including NDT coordination, data books, FATs, supplier and trial inspections
- Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication, welding processes, procedures, and standards
- Understanding of engineering specifications and ISO 9001 quality management systems
- Ability to interpret technical and fabrication drawings
- Solid knowledge of quality inspection and compliance requirements (visual, dimensional, welding)
- Experience with NDT processes, material traceability, mill certificates, and consumables control
- Knowledge of galvanising and coating inspection standards
- Understanding of workshop production and fabrication workflows
- Experience in documentation control, STRUMIS, and strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Highly detail-oriented, accountable, safety-focused, proactive, strong leadership ability, and able to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
