This project combined structural design and manufacturing scopes to reduce the client’s engineering resource load, with Viva Engineering and our design team completing all interface engineering, structural design and access layouts from only basic data sheets and layout sketches.
The scope included 9 bolted and rubber lined tanks, each 4m diameter and 6m high. Tanks were transported to site with multiple abnormal loads in a specific sequence to reduce site cranage. Top of tank steelwork was designed to support the tank agitators and provide maintenance access.
Reduced engineering hours and cost-efficient bolted tank delivery.
